but seriously I am almost in shock about the email I received a few minutes ago.
the subject line reads: TEAVANA.COM IS CLOSING 12/15/17
I'm glad I've spent the last few weeks stocking up on my favorites,
esp since everything I used to buy regularly is already sold out online.
I've tried stuff by davidstea and it's (obviously) just not the same.
I got an order from harney & sons that I've been looking forward to...
/sigh
I had a lot to drink last night and I'm not sure how much of this sinking feeling is related to a hangover.

he comes in here and, since I only have two chairs, settles into the chair at my desk.
over the course of our conversation he goes to show me something on the internet, and as such he unlocks my computer.
my mail program is open, and the last email I looked at is regarding a payment I made on one of my student loans.
he looks at me and asks, "how much tea did you buy?"

I'd hoped to start on Jan 01 but instead am doing part-time until finals week, then full-time immediately after that.
I'm both relieved and disappointed they took me back.
relieved since my school loans start coming due in Dec,
and disappointed because I went to college to get into a different line of work.
oh well.
I still hope to get a master's degree but it won't be until I've gotten my loans under control.
did I mention two of them are variable rate?
wtf was I thinking!
