"So you like Mountain Dew" is not a pick up line
I woke up @ ~ 1600 yesterday. When I got up my sis was home and she thought it'd be nice for us to go shopping together. Now for the record, I ~hate~ shopping with my sister. She's impossible.
I told her I was headed to the mall to pick out a wallet for my dad and to find some smelly gunk for magge. She said she needed to pick out something for my dad, too. So we went together. And that was my first mistake. She said she wanted to stop by Circuit City to pick up some video games for her kids - and that it'd take 20 minutes at most. I didn't know where it was, so she busts out with, "by golden corral." Who even eats there? So that was no help. I finally remembered that circut city is in the same plaza as barnes & noble so I get us there. So we get there and she spends the next 2 HOURS shopping! *grr* So we fight.
The whole reason I was in a hurry was 'cause I hadn't eaten yet and I still needed to go home and change for work and stop by david's to pick up my bag.
So anyway. We get in this fight. And apparently I hurt her feelings.
After work this morning I went with the guys to go pick up my Christmas ham. They were going to Speeds after work and invited me, but I had to take Squishy to the vet so I didn't go.
Squishy's appointment was at noon, and I was outta there at 1230. He has mange. *cringing* But it'll be ok. They gave me some topical ointment to be applied 3 times a day and I scheduled a follow up appt 3 weeks from now. If's it's not cleared up then we'll be switching to oral meds, with an injection as my last resort.
Anyway, back to the story about my impossible sister.
So I'm feeling kinda bad 'cause I had hurt her feelings yesterday. So I invite her to go to Home Depot to help me pick out some wood for some shelves I'm gonna make for my new room. (I'm still trying to convince her I need a new drill for Christmas. Well actually, I've changed to wanting this ~awesome~ little tool set that comes with a hammer drill, a circular saw, a floodlight... and a reciprocating saw. Plus a free gift - my choice would be an extra battery. I'll put a pic down at the bottom, and a link to purchase in case you wanna buy it for me. It's on sale - 20% off. So you get about $600 worth of stuff for only about $400. I'm sold, ya know?) So we end up spending 3 HOURS at home depot!!!! *GRR* And our little salesperson dude apparently helped us last time we were there when I was picking out my shower and toilet and sink and stuff. So he's like uber cool 'cause he knows my dad and all. And out of nowhere she decides that he's hitting on me. Now you have to understand, this d00d knows less about what I'm trying to do than I do. But I'm still cool with that 'cause I didn't wanna be lugging around all the wood myself, ya know? But yeah, he was real helpful. And she decides he's hitting on me for no reason. Pft!!!
Anyway, here's a pic of that tool set I want.
**UPDATE: SINCE CHRISTMAS PASSED - I WAS ACTUALLY BUYING WOOD TO MAKE THE COFFEE TABLE, NOT SHELVES**
