first thing out of budd's mouth after the movie was, "I dunno what the big deal is - Vulcan's not there in the series."

seriously.
we grilled this past saturday! finally used budd's christmas gift, and it was totally awesome. I'd been jokingly looking at getting an umbrella and a couple of outdoor chairs but now I think I might be serious.
all day it was on the verge of raining so we didn't have to deal with ridiculously hot weather. and omg lus makes some delicious fries.
I went to pampa this last week for training, and it was pretty useless.
I was super busy so there wasn't much training from me to them or from them to me.
it was, however, quite nice to put faces with names.
my new boss is not what I expected.
he also hinted at something my last boss had told him, like he wanted me to ask what she'd said about me. I thought that was really weird, and I think overall I'm gonna stick with not putting much faith in his word.
don't get me wrong - I'd love to be surprised... I just doubt I will be.
and you should watch ip man. it's pretty fucking great.
