I was always told not to ask questions I didn't want to know the answer to
 

I came out as atheist to my brother over dinner tonight.
he asked point blank, and you know how I am about lying.

I was a blubbering idiot.
I failed to communicate effectively and got completely flustered.

I'm sure in a few years it'll be funny, but for now it makes me almost sick to my stomach.

I should practice the coming out speech, as I'm sure this is gonna come up again.
