I say to him - both will disappear from my life within the next week; I am allowed to splurge.
and completely unrelated...
sarah gave me some irl photos (does that make any sense?) of the wedding.
one's even in a frame (!)
I believe I'll put it on the mantle at our new place ^_^
oh and check this out.
if you've ever wanted to drive a bmw, your chance is now.

this is the view from our front door
this is from just outside our door... it's the only way to reach our apt - hafta almost crouch under the stairs. and yeah, the flash didn't go off, so the crappy image is my awesome iphoto skills at work :(
this is from the other side of their truck. our door is on the right, theirs is on the left. and yes, budd's a tool.
and that, gentle reader, is why I hate my neighbors :(

sounds like the beginnings of a great employee.
oh and, to prove I'm not just ranting, I took some pics of our neighbor's pos vehicle parked so inconveniently.
they're on my imac, so I'll post them later.

they park their truck to where you can't hardly get into our apt.
I can't wait to move.
so we have a new guy at the office, and I don't like him.
I think he's a total douche, and I console myself constantly with, "at least I won't have to work with him."
he sits there talking shit while playing counterstrike... but he's NOT on vent.
the only people who hear his "bitch that'll teach ya to try to kill me" is us.
absurdly annoying, imo.
I think, also, that I'm resentful of him. if they hadn't fired milkdud we wouldn't be needing a new guy.
and I probably wouldn't be quitting.
I'm in such a foul mood... I'm gonna go shower, I think.

buuuut
such a nice surprise to wake up with the harry potter book in bed with me :P

sarah's bday was yesterday, and I totally forgot to harass her.
I don't even know what's going on, it seems. I've totally been sleeping during the day and dozing for a few hours at night.
*shrug*
I can't wait to have some time off. and at the same time, I'm kinda concerned about what I'll do. I have enough saved up for a few months, but after that?
no idea what I'm gonna do.
I should go back to school.
my harry potter book won't be here 'till... wait a minute. I was gonna say 'till thursday, since that was the delivery estimate in the email they sent me... but I just check amazon and it says 'delivered' on saturday!
I more than halfway wanna go rummage through budd's things to find the key to our mailbox...

Thank you for the support and the opportunities that you have provided me during the last several years. I have enjoyed my tenure with the company.
If I can be of any assistance during this transition, please let me know. I would be glad to help however I can.
Sincerely,

but I don't wanna have surgery =/
Wash the foot including the affected area twice a day with soap and water. Keep the foot clean and dry during the rest of the day.
Do not wear high heels or tight-fitting shoes. Consider wearing sandals, if appropriate, until the condition clears up.
Try to lift up the corner of the nail that is digging into the skin. Take a small piece of cotton or gauze and roll it between your fingers to form a small roll or wick. Then place the roll between the nail and the skin to keep it elevated. This is painful but is the most important part of home treatment. After every soaking, try to push the roll a little farther in.
You may take a pain reliever such as acetaminophen or ibuprofen.
If you see no improvement within 3 days, call your doctor.

he randomly sent me a message a little before 17 yesterday, so we rushed over and ~barely~ made it there as the lady was fixing to drive off. she awesomely went back in so I could fill it out (seriously awesome, imo), so in my book the place is gold already. :P
and we went to the spoon last night for a load of free pizza - apparently they do that every wednesday, and we just never knew.
doctor skoob was playing, and they're always fun to watch.
and since tooter's out of the office for the rest of the week (family emergency, and I seriously hope it works out), I gave the apt complex chino's number (he's our office mgr).
when they called him, he told them I make $13/hr. I was like, "psh! I wish I made $13/hr. if I did I probably wouldn't be leaving."
we both had a good laugh, 'cause I'm only making ~$10, and that's pretty easy to replace.
and budd's gonna be devastated when he hears this:
there is no fiber for any apt complexes.
on the bright side, it's not the specific complex's fault.
on the not-bright side, he was really excited about it.
I'm sad a bit myself.

we did manage to finally get attuned for... old 40 mans, but since our guild is shit there's almost no chance we'll ever do anything with those attunements. he seemed excited anyway, and that's good enough for me.
my fishing skill is coming along nicely, since I spend so much time fishing for oily blackmouth for my damned free action potions. and I've still not finished my elixirs mastery quest, but really the only instance I'm interested in doing is shadow labs.
doesn't happen often; only time I ever get to go is with pugs. did I mention I still hate our guild?
I had lunch with lus on tuesday. we went to this place in town called harrigan's, where I had this amazing chicken and broccoli quiche.
yum~
he's doing well, and since I hadn't talked to him in a while it was especially nice to see him.
and work! wooh!
finally back to my regular schedule.
and only about a month more before I quit.
woooh!

try the grey stuff, it's delicious
think we're gonna move across town into this nice complex across town with assigned covered parking (have I mentioned how much I hate the parking here? really it's my only complaint, but it is a big deal for me)
and ugh at trying to get a hold of my sister :(
moving = packing = newspapers for all my dishes.
